Princess Arch in the Daniel Boone National Forest - Red River Gorge - Slade, Kentucky

This natural arch was located in the Red River Gorge area of the Daniel Boone National Forest and was a quick 0.6 of a mile round trip to view. The elevation gain is 104 feet over the course of the trail, so be prepared for a slight uphill climb on the way back up to the parking lot. For another great view, I recommend taking the 2nd trail from the parking lot for a round trip on 0.7 of a mile to see Chimney Top Rock. These geological features are stunning to see in person!
